Legal Review Note

This policy is provided for transparency and may be updated as our data programs, legal obligations, and customer requirements evolve. Enterprise-specific data programs may require separate agreements, consent forms, and legal review.

This Privacy Policy explains how Embodied AI Data Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our website, request a sample dataset, contact us, apply as a capture partner, or participate in a consent-first data capture program.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, company or institutional affiliation, professional role, and telephone number.
  • Request Information: Details regarding your dataset requirements, custom task briefs, environments, expected volumes, timelines, and annotation specifications.
  • Partner Application Information: Facility name, city, state, facility type, active workflows, and capture availability when applying as a factory or capture partner.
  • Website Usage Data: Pages visited, device and browser configurations, referral source, and general analytics events.
  • Communications: Email messages, form submissions, and inquiries sent to our support or operational teams.
  • Data Capture Program Information: Participant consent records, capture specifications, anonymization status, quality assurance (QA) notes, and workflow metadata, where applicable.

We do not collect human demonstration data secretly. Our data capture programs are structured around participant awareness, clear consent workflows, and defined capture scopes.

2. How We Use Information

We utilize collected information to perform the following business operations:

  • To evaluate and respond to sample dataset requests.
  • To assess buyer requirements and scope pilot or enterprise data collection programs.
  • To review applications submitted by potential factory and capture partners.
  • To operate, maintain, and optimize our website experience.
  • To communicate updates, newsletters, and program options.
  • To conduct consent-first human demonstration data capture programs.
  • To prepare metadata, quality assurance signals, anonymization records, and delivery manifests.
  • To satisfy legal, regulatory, security, and contractual requirements.

4. Anonymization and Sensitive Information

Where appropriate and requested, we may blur, mask, crop, remove, or otherwise reduce the exposure of sensitive details—such as faces, license plates, name tags, documents, digital screens, private addresses, or other background information—within our human demonstration datasets.

Please note:

  • Anonymization workflows and capabilities may vary by project scope and environment.
  • Buyers have the option to specify custom anonymization requirements for their targeted datasets.
  • Not all raw datasets are automatically anonymous; project-specific reviews may be required.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell website visitor contact information as a data broker. We may share information under the following limited circumstances:

  • Internal Personnel: Sharing with team members who require access to evaluate requests or manage operations.
  • Service Providers: Sharing with vendors assisting with hosting, analytics, email communications, form hosting, and cloud storage.
  • Dataset Buyers: Providing metadata, logs, and anonymized demonstration data to verified dataset buyers under agreed licensing terms.
  • Legal and Safety Compliance: Sharing with legal counsel, regulators, or safety parties if required by law or to protect company and participant safety.
  • Business Transfers: Sharing in connection with a corporate merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our website may use cookies, tracking pixels, or local storage tools to collect usage data. These tools measure page traffic, referral paths, and form conversions. Users can manage or disable cookies through their web browser configuration settings.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no digital system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

8. Data Retention

We retain contact details and task requests as long as necessary to conduct ongoing business relationships. Partner application details are held during review cycles. Consent documentation, capture logs, and metadata are retained as required to support data integrity, license compliance, audit trails, and legal requirements. We accept and review data erasure requests where operationally and legally viable.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your physical location and the local laws that apply, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, request correction of inaccurate records, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent, or submit grievances regarding data handling.

India Operations: For individuals in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 provides a framework for processing digital personal data and recognizes rights such as access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and withdrawal of consent. We design our collection workflows to align with these principles.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and commercial data services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our website forms. Any data capture programs involving minors, if ever considered, would require strict additional safeguards and appropriate parental or guardian consent.

11. International Users

We operate globally and may work with buyers, partners, and service providers located outside of India. Information collected on this site or through our programs may be processed or stored in countries other than where it originated, subject to applicable contractual agreements and transfer safeguards.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will be revised accordingly.
